Hi, I’m alexandra
I am content designer and a 3-in-1 learning designer (scriptwriter, video editor, and adept trainer). I’ve also worked as a freelance copywriter and editor for 14 years. During this time I did anything from writing ad campaings to working as a script doctor in Hollywood.
I later became interested in both content design and instructional design out of a deep desire to make information online easier to digest.
Sounds boring, but it all started when I went through one of the toughest years of my life – getting married and immigrating during the pandemic!
Having to navigate the many layers of bureacracy and get up-to-date information on my situation proved to be a challenge, and gave me a strong insight into what many web and mobile experiences are missing. Now I’m excited to improve online experiences as a user experience and learning professional.

Client: Education First
Wrote and designed lesson materials for 20 reading, writing, listening, and speaking classes to be used at Zhejiang Normal University (ZNU), EF’s client. My teaching materials and classroom performance impressed ZNU and ZNU contracted EF for another year of service.
Freelance Instructional Designer, Content Strategist, Copywriter | 2013 - 2019
Clients: Felicia Pride, Acurian, Hyatt House, inmobi, Lycogel
(These jobs were in the film, pharmacutecal, hospitality, mobile advertising, and skincare industries.)
I helped redesign Grey’s Anatomy writer Felicia Pride’s screenwriting course. I helped define the modules, created job aids, as well as the overall course marketing plan.

Clients: Individuals and teams from Google, Amazon, taboola, SAP, and various entrepreneurs
I helped clients access gaps in their content (websites, presentations, internal communications) and developed trainings for two types of courses. I also wrote and edited numerous pieces of content.
